Tonight at Upper Room Woodcrest, Ryan Lawrence will be teaching a message titled ”Casting Stones”. We are continuing our series through the book of Romans titled “Revival”.
I am looking forward to what Ryan has to say tonight. I just want to share something short with you that God showed me in this chapter.

Roamns 2:1 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.
We live in culture where people are screaming you can’t judge me, who are you. As long as I am happy and not hurting anyone everything is ok. I even encounter people in the church who are the saying the same things. You can’t judge me you don’t know my heart.

It’s true the bible says while we are not to make judgment in condemnation, we are to judge for identification. Jesus speaking in Matthew7:15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?

Family there is a fine line between condemnation and identification. Our purpose in judging someone’s fruit should not be to condemn them. But to identify where they are in life so we can help them. If the appear to be an unbeliever they need the gospel not judgement. If they are a believer they still need the gospel and they need loving correction with a willingness coming from you to help them with that correction. You not helping anyone by pointing out where they need correction without a solution. Correction without a solution is worthless.

We start 7pm and the address is 19805 San Luis Rey Ln, Riverside, CA 92508. Everyone is welcome. You should come.
God Bless you

Tonight at Upper Room Woodcrest, my message title is “Not Ashamed”. We are continuing my series through the book of Romans titled “Revival”.

Paul the Apostle writes in Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.”

Ashamed is defined as not wanting to do something because of shame or embarrassment. We are ashamed of the gospel when we are afraid to share the gospel for any reason. Yes, there is timing and tact in sharing the gospel with someone. But there are a lot times I wouldn’t share simply because I was stop myself with the “what if” questions. Questions like, what if they ask me something I don’t know? What if they get mad at me? What if they just reject me? When the only “what if” that matters is, what if this is the moment they make a decision to follow Jesus Christ. What a great moment that would be. A moment we could miss being a part of. The Gospel is not something to be ashamed of. Because it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.

You can not to be ashamed of something you really believe in. If it is something you really believe in it would be something you can not stop talking about.

We are going to talk about this and more. We start 7pm and the address is 19805 San Luis Rey Ln, Riverside, CA 92508. Everyone is welcome. I hope you decide to come.

God Bless you

Tonight at Upper Room Woodcrest I am starting a series through the book of Romans called “Revival”, with a message titled “Set Apart”

Revival is something every Christian hopes for. It is something that you yourself can not make happen. It is something God chooses to do at certain times for His purpose. It can happen in large groups like whole churches. It can happen in small parts of the church like a community group. Most of the time it starts in the heart of one person and spreads throughout the church. Even though we can not make revival happen we can prepare our hearts and minds readying ourselves for it.

The book of Romans is often call the road to revival. Men like Augustine, John Wesley, Martin Luther, Chuck Smith, and Jon Courson credit the book of Romans as starting a revival in their own hearts. I myself pray for a revival in my own heart often. That a fire would be started inside of me that would affect everyone around me. So that God would be glorified. I hoping as we study through the book of Romans, the book of revival that God would choose to cause a revival in our hearts.

We start 7pm and the address is 19805 San Luis Rey Ln, Riverside, CA 92508. Everyone is welcome. You should come.

God Bless you

Tonight at Upper Room Woodcrest I am closing my series called “Above all else, guard your heart”, with a message titled “Relationships.” It’s not a dating a message or even suggestions for your marriage. Those are definitely the most important relationships in our lives. But this message is about the people we give power in our life.

One of my friends once said “when his wife is for him but the world is against him, everything is good. however, when the whole world is for him and but his wife is against him everything is not good.” This is perfect illustration of one person’s opinion having the greatest power in a persons life. The place where many people fail is they give this power to the wrong people. We must be careful who we give this power. This is where control of ones emotions can be lost.

We are start 7pm and the address is 19805 San Luis Rey Ln, Riverside, CA 92508. Everyone is welcome. I would be blessed to see you tonight.

May the Lord bless you.
